Founded in 1989, Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation works to develop pathways to self-sufficiency for individuals, families and small business owners in Central Brooklyn.
Our mission is to foster self-sufficiency, intergenerational wealth, and dignity by delivering well-trained workforce pipelines, youth leadership, capacity building services, and entrepreneurship programs. We envision a Brooklyn where every resident is equipped and empowered to thrive.
Our approach to community development is centered around People. For us, this simply means, the strength of a community is rooted in the strength of its people.
